Our restaurant "1854
Can you taste devotion?
We believe so. With every bite of bread, every sip of wine, or the sensory experience of fresh ingredients - we are convinced and strive to ensure that you can taste our passion for good cuisine.
The restaurant is now called "1854" and has been completely refocused and redesigned to provide a consistent experience with the Marienhöh concept as a whole.
In 1854, the Marienhöh convent was founded, which today houses our hotel. The monastery was a place of knowledge, art and scholarship. In this tradition we also continue our restaurant. Traditional craftsmanship and creative culinary art with the most modern knowledge are thus combined to create a highly attractive culinary experience.
We invite you to discover and taste the ideas of chef Felix Heylmann and his team. Experience professional and creative culinary art, which combines natural and healthy high-quality, regional products easily and with the touch of French cuisine.
The food is deliberately accompanied with regional wines that depict the intersection of Moselle, Nahe, Palatinate and Rheingau. In addition, you will also experience a wide, European range of wines.
We offer our cuisine in the morning for breakfast, coffee and cake and in the evening for dinner accordingly and look forward to your visit.
